Have you ever heard of Content and Language? Integrated Learning is known as CLIL? As 21st-century educators, we should think about Krashen’s idea which is “language is the best taught when it is being used to transmit messages, not when it is explicitly taught for conscious learning”. Content and Language Learning allows us to follow this idea. When we use language to transmit a message or to teach mathematics or social sciences it is more efficient than teaching the language for conscious learning.
